Coroner clarifies; CDC shifts its position
Lancaster County Coroner Stephen Diamantoni says measles appears on the newborn's death certificate as a contributing condition, while maintaining that measles did not contribute to the death, which a forensic pathologist attributed to a ruptured spleen. The CDC's X account thanks Kennedy for his 'efforts to clarify conflicting information from Pennsylvania officials' and says the governor's office declined federal assistance.

Airwars: search plane arrived 45 hours after the strike
Airwars' review of the first 12 months of strikes finds the single search aircraft reached the area 45 hours after people were reported in the water. It counts about 25 declared survivors across the campaign who were never recovered, and three rescued (Airwars).

Airwars counts 69 boats struck and at least 227 people killed between September 2025 and August 2026. Of 28 people who survived an initial strike, only three were rescued; only 26 of the dead have been publicly named, and the campaign's legal basis and target list remain classified.

DOJ appeals Harvard dismissal
