Geneva Convention IV (Protection of Civilian Persons) — Articles 53, 147

Article 53 prohibits property destruction except when absolutely required by military necessity. Article 147 defines grave breaches including willful killing, torture, unlawful deportation, and wanton property destruction, which constitute war crimes.
