    Trump Issues Ultimatum: 'A Whole Civilization Will Die Tonight' Unless Iran Capitulates

    President Trump set a Tuesday, April 7 deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, threatening to destroy every bridge, every power plant, and all civilian infrastructure in Iran. He stated 'a whole civilization will die tonight' and promised 'complete demolition' within four hours. Amnesty International called the threat to attack power plants 'a threat to commit war crimes', and over 100 international law experts later warned that US attacks on such infrastructure could be war crimes.
